After being encouraged by a close friend, I have been following and reading the books written by author, K.S. Ford, starting with the Lodge Looks Back series about Lt. Stephen Lodge of the Royal Navy. By the end of the series, I was totally hooked and became quite attached to some of the characters.

He has also taken me on a journey to far away places that most of us only dream of.

The Journal of Mrs Hilda Smith is a beautiful story about the life of a couple spanning over two wars and the love and strength that got them through.

The more recent books have been dark thrillers which keep me guessing right up until the end and have me on the edge of my seat.

I also enjoyed the light hearted and funny Court of Mishaps and Foolishness book, and my granddaughters loved the story of The Girl Who Danced with Horses. Best of all, they could colour the pictures and make it their own.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all of K.S. Ford's books to date and look forward to seeing what he comes up with next. I hope you do too.

The Watcher in the Glass. An excellent read… looking forward to reading more K.S. Ford books.
